You will need Adobe's cross-operating system runtime environment. An installation preview follows:

Download adobe's cross-operating system runtime environment, http://get.adobe.com/air/.
Its filename is AdobeAIRInstaller.exe. The simulator's filename is pidsimulator.air.
Install the runtime environment first by double clicking AdobeAIRInstaller.exe. Then install PID Loop Simulator by double clicking pidsimulator.air.
Unless you specified otherwise during installation, a shortcut to the simulator will appear on your computer's desktop.
